Honda WR-V gets a Jeep Cherokee XJ makeover by DAMD, a Japanese tuner known for its unique projects. The compact SUV, initially dubbed the “Winsome Runabout Vehicle,” has received a significant facelift inspired by the iconic Cherokee XJ. DAMD cleverly infused this forgotten Honda crossover with a stronger personality, drawing design cues from various models. The WR-V now sports retro-themed elements such as square-shaped headlights reminiscent of older Jeep models and LED daytime running lights borrowed from past Mercedes G-Class iterations. The tuner also added faux wooden panels along the sides, redesigned engine hood, and bulkier front bumper to enhance the off-road vibe. Wrapping the 16-inch wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K03 tires and raising the suspension by nearly 1.4 inches completes the rugged look. While the interior remains relatively unchanged, customers can opt for checkered seat covers that extend to the center and rear consoles, as well as the front seat pockets.
