During his official visit to Saudi Arabia on July 1, 2025, President Prabowo Subianto received a warm welcome from Indonesian elementary school children residing in Jeddah. The children enthusiastically greeted the President with flags and chants of “Welcome, Mr. President!” The formal reception quickly transformed into an emotional and joyous gathering as President Prabowo engaged with the children, smiling and taking photos with them. One student, Arsad Hanfana Al-Syarabi, proudly introduced himself as the child of Indonesian Embassy employees in Jeddah. Before continuing his visit, President Prabowo shared a heartfelt message with the children, urging them to focus on their studies.
The encounter was also significant for the Indonesian community in Jeddah, including Hanif Hasanuddin from the Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM). Hanif expressed gratitude for the President’s visit and shared aspirations for Indonesia’s future. Accompanied by high-ranking Indonesian officials, President Prabowo’s visit strengthened the bond with the Indonesian community residing abroad.
