President Prabowo Subianto recently visited former President Joko Widodo at his residence in Solo to discuss updates from his recent state visits to various countries. The visit included discussions on breakthroughs achieved during the diplomatic tour, particularly with the European Union and the long-awaited Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The meeting, described as cordial and relaxed, covered current issues and highlights from Prabowo’s 15-day international tour, emphasizing Indonesia’s strong international standing and commitment to neutrality.
During the meeting, Prabowo shared positive results from the tour, including potential trade opportunities with countries like Belarus. He highlighted Indonesia’s reputation as a non-aligned country and its efforts to maintain peaceful cooperation with all nations. The delegation accompanying Prabowo in the meeting with Jokowi included State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo. The discussions underlined Indonesia’s stance of respecting all countries, seeking friendships with global partners, and refraining from interference in domestic affairs.
