Sugiono, who has been recently appointed as the Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his gratitude towards his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who served in that position for 17 years. Speaking at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan on Friday, Sugiono acknowledged Muzani’s contributions to the party and his pivotal role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. He also recognized Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad for his efforts in building the party. Sugiono emphasized the importance of unity among party cadres in supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s government programs. The newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General. This new leadership aims to continue upholding the party’s mission of building a just and prosperous Indonesia.
