President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently welcomed General Bryan Patrick Fenton, Commander of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. The meeting showcased a strong commitment to bolstering defense cooperation between Indonesia and the United States. The exchange between the two leaders was cordial, with Prabowo extending a warm greeting to General Fenton. During the meeting, General Fenton presented Prabowo with the USSOCOM Honor Medal in recognition of his exceptional leadership in advancing defense relations between the two countries, particularly in special operations. The general praised President Subianto’s visionary leadership in strengthening bilateral defense ties and international collaboration. The meeting was attended by key officials including Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
