Before boarding the train, President Prabowo posed for photos with the Whoosh crew and departed for Tegalluar Station in Bandung at 8:00 p.m. His visit was in preparation for inaugurating the 2025 Indonesian Convention on Science, Technology, and Industry (KSTI) at Sasana Budaya Ganesa, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) from August 7 to 9. At the convention, he is scheduled to deliver a keynote address alongside Nobel Laureate Konstantin Novoselov and Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto.
With the theme of KSTI 2025 centered on “Economic Growth and Equity Through Mastery of Science and Technology,” the event aims to position itself as a significant platform on both national and international fronts. Experts are expected to gather to engage in discussions and devise strategies concerning the role of science and technology in fostering economic progress and ensuring equality.
