In order to safeguard the nation’s territory, sovereignty, and resources, Prabowo stressed the necessity of strengthening national defense. Referring to the current world as volatile and uncertain, he highlighted ongoing conflicts in various regions and reiterated Indonesia’s commitment to maintaining its independence without aligning with any geopolitical bloc.
At the ceremony, Prabowo appointed new military commanders, awarded honors to distinguished individuals, and inaugurated several new TNI units to enhance the country’s defense capabilities. The troop review involved thousands of personnel and tactical vehicles, showcasing Indonesia’s readiness to protect its interests and maintain peace and stability.
