President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, warmly received the Peruvian President, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. The grand state ceremony was attended by approximately 3,000 students from various schools in the capital. President Boluarte’s motorcade, accompanied by a procession of 17 motorcycle troops and 60 mounted guards, made its way to the palace from the National Monument (Monas). Upon arrival, President Prabowo personally welcomed President Boluarte, and together they listened to their respective national anthems being played. Subsequently, they inspected the honor guard and showed respect to their national flags. The two leaders then introduced their official delegations, with President Prabowo being accompanied by several key ministers. A bilateral meeting was held between the two heads of state to strengthen the relations between Indonesia and Peru. Both countries are members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, promoting economic cooperation in the region. This meeting was a reciprocal gesture following President Prabowo’s visit to Peru last year, demonstrating the ongoing diplomatic exchange between the two nations.
