Growing up without a father hasn’t hindered Andra Farizki Ramdhani from pursuing his dreams. As a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, Andra has found new hope through the People’s School initiative by President Prabowo Subianto. Despite financial challenges, Andra is grateful for the opportunity to receive a proper education through the People’s School.
The boarding school environment at SRMA 10 has been both challenging and rewarding for Andra. While he misses his family, he enjoys the lively atmosphere with friends and the shared experiences in the dormitory. Andra’s days are filled with a tight schedule of activities, including morning prayers, exercise, and classes, creating a structured routine that he finds strength in.
Andra praises the facilities at SRMA 10, noting the comfortable beds, study rooms, and an environment that helps him stay focused. He is actively involved in extracurricular activities, particularly enjoying informatics, and dreams of becoming a judo athlete while pursuing higher education at Defense University (Unhan) as per his mother’s wishes.
With a strong determination to succeed and his mother’s unwavering support, Andra is grateful for the opportunity to study without financial burden at the People’s School. He sees the school as a gateway to hope for underprivileged children who are determined to learn, offering a chance to pursue their dreams without additional financial constraints. Through the People’s School, Andra believes that his ambitions are now within reach, thanks to the supportive environment and opportunities it provides for students like him.
